As a global family, we have emerged from a period of unprecedented challenge. This shared ordeal has strengthened our faith in the human spirit and the vision of One Family under God. During this time, we have witnessed the power of service-minded women, responding with love and compassion to bring healing, hope, and renewal. It is critical to empower service-minded women even more as we build toward a new and brighter future of freedom, harmony, and peace. Even as we rebuild, our world is still in turmoil: armed aggression and human rights violations on scales we hoped we would never see in this century, deepening identity and ideological divisions and clashes, and poverty threaten our prospects towards peace. Our sessions will explore how, in the midst of such challenges, we can navigate toward a world of peace and freedom for all. The Women Empowerment track, organized by Global Peace Women, calls together women from around the Philippines and the world to explore the important roles and strengths of service-minded women in securing a vision of peace relevant for our time, in all areas of their life: in her home, workplace, society, community, and world.
