Between April 11-13, 2023, over 1,000 delegates convened virtually and in person at Le Meridien and Royal Plaza Hotels, New Delhi, India, for the Global Peace Leadership Conference Indo-Pacific 2023 (GPLC 2023) themed Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam: Vision for Advancing Human Consciousness and Peace. The delegates, who included ambassadors, peacebuilders, and students shared through 4 different workshops that targeted four key areas:
1. Youth Empowerment
2. Transforming Education
3. Values-Based Peacebuilding
4. Environmental Conservation
Keynote speakers explored ways in which individuals can effectively contribute towards overall peace, become moral and innovative leaders, apply peacebuilding to educational programs, and promote environmental conservation, among other topics.
‘I hope that each of you will become peacebuilders in your respective spheres of influence and join us in the great movement for global peace,” said Dr. Hyun Jin Preston Moon, Chairman of Global Peace Foundation.
GPW participated in the GPLC 2023, organized by the Global Peace Foundation (GPF) and co-organizers Indian Council for International Co-operation, Manav Rachna University, and Yuvsatta Youth for Peace in partnership with Civil 20 India 2023.
